“I would have despaired unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.”
—a psalm
I am a woman who believes that goodness is possible in our lives. What we have suffered can be mended and transformed into something beautiful. We are meant to be redeemed, which literally means, “to buy back what has been lost.” I have tasted redemption myself, and I have witnessed this restoration in others. There is hope in the land of the living.
I am a woman who loves pioneering resurrection and wholeness into wounded souls and dark spaces. I particularly love journeying with people who have suffered from trauma or abuse in any form.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist in Ontario and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Michigan. I have been practising counselling professionally for the past six years. I was a University campus minister in Ann Arbor for the five years before that.
I received my B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Michigan in 2009, and I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Moody Theological Seminary in 2016. I am a Fellow with The Allender Center at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, and I have Certificates of Completion in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from The Allender Center in 2018, 2020, and 2021, respectively.
